Summary

LCI-UK Standard in Value Stream Mapping (Part Two)

It is a prerequisite that delegates have completed part one workshop ' Value Stream Mapping'.

LCI-UK Standard in Value Stream Mapping (Part Two) is a “Check and Continue” session held 8–12 weeks after Part One.

Participants will: • Compare current and future-state maps to assess progress. • Evaluate successes, barriers, and lessons learned. • Update the action plan and identify new opportunities. • Apply Lean tools such as the 5 Whys to address challenges.

Upon completion of this session, LCI-UK will be able to process the CITB grant for employees of levy-paying companies, which is currently set at £140 per person (CITB tier 2 funding)

Outcomes

Participants will benefit from reviewing the activity undertaken between workshops to ensure that their knowledge and practical application is solid. They should leave with • Ability to refine mapped processes. • Strengthened problem-solving and continuous improvement skills. • Skills to replicate success across projects.
